It was standing room only in the classrooms both mornings. Brian Juroff (left), Topcon's Northeast 3D Machine Control Manager explained the advantages of Topcon's GPS+ technology. GPS+ enables access to both GPS and GLONASS satellites, providing superior accuracy over conventional GPS-only systems. It also minimizes downtime that can occur when access to satellites is blocked by obstructions. Mike Yates (center), Topcon's Canadian Survey Manager, gave an in-depth review of the latest developments in survey instrument technology. Topcon's newest total stations combine digital imagery with optical systems to enable accurate measurement of inaccessible features, like buildings. |
