Job Description: GeoShack is offering an excellent opportunity for experienced agriculture sales representatives to grow his/her career with us in this commission only position.  We are searching for candidates with 2-5 years of agricultural sales experience to work in an assigned territory where you will be selling top of the line Topcon and Leica brand solutions.  You will be calling on farmers, co-ops, custom applicators & equipment dealers, gathering information about customer needs, presenting GeoShack solutions, and closing the sale.

Our growing product portfolio includes systems for guidance, auto-steering, mapping, and variable rate (VRT) control applications for the precision farming industry.  This position will require you to be driven, self-motivated and goal oriented.  You must be willing to receive guidance and direction as you are the primary link to our current and prospective clients.  You are expected to provide excellent customer training and support after the sale.

Field Service Technician – GPS/Lasers

Job Description: Growing high-tech company needs technician for installation and field service repair of machine control systems.  Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics and welding experience preferred; knowledge of construction GPS systems is a plus.  Background in heavy equipment repair, aviation service and repair, etc. helpful.  Training provided.  Some overnight travel will be required.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess:

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Tech degree preferred.
  • Must be able to see, hear and communicate effectively in oral and written form.
  • Good mechanical skills required.
  • Heavy equipment experience a plus.
  • Mobile/hydraulic experience a plus.
  • Must have a clean driving record.

Qualifications: The duties for this job will include the following:

  • Manage all purchasing efforts.
  • Manage and control all inventories at multiple sites.
  • Negotiate with vendors to increase gross margins.
  • Increase inventory turns.
  • Reduce overall inventories.
  • Reduce inventory losses.
  • Implement bar coding.
  • Travel required, up to 25%.

Education and Training

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum 5 years experience in inventory control and purchasing.
  • Experience with serialized inventory preferred.
  • Prefer knowledge of construction or survey industry.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects, tight deadlines and changing priorities and show constant entrepreneurial initiative.
